These steaks are nice and lean, and packed full of flavour. Whether you decide to braise them or marinate and grill- they will not disappoint. Flank steak is a slightly tough cut of meat due to its leanness. However, if you use a simple marinade combining acidic citrus juice and salty soy sauce it will tenderize these steaks perfectly! Olive oil also helps to keep the meat juicy and supple. Adding a little bit of brown sugar will also bring out our beefs natural sweetness and helps to create a slightly caramelized crust once the steak hits your grill!

Our incredibly flavourful Heritage Canadian Beef is fed a special blend of roasted grains and grass in summer and high quality hay in winter. Roasting the grains impacts the feed at a cellular level and makes it more digestible, with more nutrient absorption. The result is a product with excellent marbling and taste! Feeding is done at a rate of 80% grass and 20% grain, creating tremendously tender meat. With a no antibiotics, no hormone policy you can be sure you are eating clean, quality local beef. Incredibly tender with a lasting flavour that melts in your mouth.
