Springhills pickerel (sometimes called walleye) is wild caught from Lake Erie. The fillets are individually vacuum-sealed, pinboned and frozen at peak freshness. Pickerel is one of the most sought after and prized freshwater fish in North America. It is esteemed for its light succulent flavour with a fine, flaked texture.

It comes from a wild fishery that is internationally recognized as sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council, which means it’s good for the environment and safe to eat.

We pride ourselves on offering the freshest fish available at your door. Springhills pickerel is immediately submersed in ice during harvest, and then later instantly frozen immediately after filleting. They will keep up to 12 months in your freezer.
