Beef tenderloin is definitely one of the most tender cuts of beef and it’s located within the loin. This is where we get filet mignon, which is made from the very tip of the pointy end of the tenderloin. There is also very little fat within the tenderloin, making it a nice lean cut.

We love making this special cut of meat around the holidays! It’s perfect for feeding a group of family and friends and doesn’t require much work! With just a bit of prep, a good skillet and a probe meat thermometer, you’ll have a juicy cut of roast beef tenderloin that’ll make you smile with each bite.

Our incredibly flavourful Heritage Canadian Beef is fed a special blend of roasted grains and grass in summer and high quality hay in winter. Roasting the grains impacts the feed at a cellular level and makes it more digestible, with more nutrient absorption. The result is a product with excellent marbling and taste! Feeding is done at a rate of 80% grass and 20% grain, creating tremendously tender meat. With a no antibiotics, no hormone policy you can be sure you are eating clean, quality local beef. Incredibly tender with a lasting flavour that melts in your mouth.
