Tornado Support Basket

Thursday’s Tornado hit our community close to heart and home. 60+ families have been displaced and hundreds of others experienced significant damage to their homes. We want to support the impacted families and would like to ask you for your help. We are planning to deliver complimentary support baskets with produce, bread and a handwritten cards to as many families as possible that were affected.

You can order tornado support baskets on the market this weekend. For every basket purchased we will match the donation and deliver two baskets to families in need. If everyone in the Simcoe Harvest community would order a support basket we could support all impacted families.

Here is how it will work:

– You can order Tornado Support Baskets on the market starting this weekend until Wednesday July 21st. We will match your support: we will deliver two support baskets for every basket you order.
– We will include a handwritten card with a short message – You can leave a message in the order notes and we will hand write this on a card on your behalf.
– We will deliver the support baskets to impacted families who live along the path the Tornado took across the Mapleview / Prince William Way neighbourhood in Barrie and Innisfil.

Thank you for your support in advance! Getting together to support impacted families is a small thing we can do to try to support them through difficult times.

If you or anyone you know was affected please let us know by emailing us at
